Starring: George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Scott Freiman
Country: United States

About the film:
With his Deconstructing the Beatles series, Scott Freiman combines his love of the band with his experience as a composer, producer and engineer to deliver unique educational lectures about their creative process. He moves past the personalities of the four Beatles to uncover the reasons why their music continues to be loved by millions.
The Beatles’ Abbey Road is a masterpiece filled with classic Beatles songs, such as “Come Together,” “Something,” and “Here Comes the Sun.” George Martin told the Beatles to think “symphonically,” and they responded by creating the remarkable side two song suite.
Abbey Road was the last time that the Beatles recorded together at EMI Studios — soon-to-be-christened Abbey Road Studios after the album’s release. Despite the bittersweet atmosphere that surrounded the recording sessions, The Beatles’ outstanding songs and performances together with George Martin’s orchestrations produced an album that continues to be regarded as one of the best albums ever created.
With Abbey Road Part 1 (2019) and Abbey Road Part 2 (2019), Beatleologist Scott Freiman has created one of his most in-depth “deconstructions.” Freiman takes the audience on a journey track-by-track explaining the inspiration for the songs and their evolution in the studio.

Scott Freiman is an internationally recognized expert and lecturer on the music of the Beatles. He is creator of Deconstructing the Beatles, a series of multimedia presentations about the composition and production techniques of the band. He has presented his lectures to sold-out audiences nationwide and has spoken about the Beatles at colleges, universities, and corporations, and contributed his insights into for the 2013 book All the Songs: The Story Behind Every Beatles Release. He also writes about music and “deconstructs” songs and bands for Culture Sonar and co-hosts the monthly Fab Four Master Class with fellow Beatleologist Kenneth Womack.

Deconstructing the Beatles: The Birth of the Beatles (2018)
Director: Justin Drobinski, Sean Gallagher Run Time: 88 min. Rating: NR Release Year: 2018
Starring: Scott Freiman
Country: United States
Language: English
About the film:
With his Deconstructing the Beatles series, Scott Freiman combines his love of the band with his experience as a composer, producer and engineer to deliver unique educational lectures about their creative process. He moves past the personalities of the four Beatles to uncover the reasons why their music continues to be loved by millions.
In the late fifties, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Richard Starkey were just four Liverpudlian teenagers who picked up guitars (or drumsticks) and decided to play music. With no formal training and no ability to read or write music, they tried to emulate their American rock heroes. Within a few years, they would change music history (and the world) forever.
In The Birth of the Beatles (2018), Freiman explores the path that brought the four Liverpool teenagers to superstardom — from their early days as the Quarrymen to their transformation in Hamburg — and the many characters who helped them on their journey.
