Join us March 15th as we raise our glasses together at The 2026 Awards Season Gala by Gateway Film Foundation with presenting support from Donna & Larry James.

This year marks a special tribute to Gateway Film Foundation founder Chris Hamel.

Gateway Film Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting storytellers and amplifying the impact of their work in our community. As our largest annual fundraiser, The 2026 Awards Season Gala is our way to gather the community in celebration of the year’s best films and most important filmmakers.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:00pm with elevated hors d’oeuvres and one-of-a-kind themed cocktails. Chat with your fellow lovers of film, culture, and art, and commemorate the occasion with red carpet photos.

At 6:30pm, we recognize organizations and individuals who have noticeably advanced film culture in our community with the presentation of the 2026 Center Original Awards, including the tribute to Chris Hamel.

The 98th Academy Awards ceremony will begin at 7:00pm, grab a serving from our custom popcorn bar as we cheer on the contenders, and toast to the winners. Be sure to complete your ballot! More special surprises will be announced at the party—including a late night treat—before the Best Picture Nominees are announced.

Cocktail or Oscars-Inspired attire is encouraged. If Bob Fernandez,  Annie and Smoke, or Michelle Fuller would wear it to a premiere, you’re there.

Tickets are available for individuals ($95 each) and myGFC Members ($65 each) via Wild Apricot. Awards Gala tickets also include parking validation (for the South Campus Gateway garage) and two drink tickets, redeemable for select cocktails, beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages.
