About the filmmakers:
Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder are storytellers whose work explores the fragile boundaries between reality, performance, and self-invention. Together, they co-directed the much-anticipated documentary feature You Can See Everything (2026).
Oppenheim is an acclaimed documentary filmmaker whose work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian, and film festivals around the world. He began crafting short films as a high school student in Fort Lauderdale. His short documentary Quicksand (2013) was selected by PBS to air as part of their “Local, USA” series in 2013. While studying Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard, Oppenheim became the youngest contributor to The New York Times Op-Docs with Long Term Parking (2016), No Jail Time: The Movie (2017), and The Happiest Guy in the World (2018), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. He became the first Sundance Ignite Fellow to premiere a feature at the Sundance Film Festival with Some Kind of Heaven (2021). Earlier this year, Oppenheim made his narrative feature debut with Primetime (2026), which premiered in the main competition of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Nathan Fielder is a filmmaker, comedian, writer, actor, and producer who blends comedy with examinations of human behavior. He gained recognition through writing and performing roles on This Hour Has 22 Minutes before creating the cult comedy series Nathan for You (2013-2017), which uses elaborate business schemes to expose the absurdity of everyday life. Fielder later executive-produced How To with John Wilson (2020-2023) and created The Rehearsal (2022-present), pushing the boundaries of documentary through meticulously constructed scenarios and real-world encounters. The series won the Independent Spirit Award for Best New Non-Scripted or Documentary Series. Working with Benny Safdie, Fielder co-created and starred in his first scripted show, The Curse (2022-2024). You Can See Everything (2026) is his first feature documentary.
