Sunday, March 29 at 1:00pm—Actor James Raterman in Attendance, Post-Screening Discussion—included with myGFC membership
Central Ohio-based James (Jim) Raterman joins us in person to talk about his experience behind the scenes on this year’s Best Picture winner, One Battle After Another (2025), as interrogator Colonel Danvers. Raterman is one of several non-professional actors tapped by PTA to appear in the film; his work on the movie earned Raterman membership in SAG-AFTRA.
Jim Raterman’s path to this film is grounded in a career spent on the front lines of real-world conflict. As a former agent with the United States Secret Service and later an official with the Department of Homeland Security, his work focused on some of the most urgent threats facing communities—violent crime, human trafficking, and the opioid crisis.
Discussion and questions after the film moderated by Melissa Starker, Screen Addiction Columbus editor.
