On a quiet anniversary retreat to a remote cabin, Liz and Malcolm hope for an escape from everyday life—but when Malcolm unexpectedly returns to the city, Liz finds herself alone and isolated. As night falls, the cabin’s old walls begin to reveal dark secrets and a sinister presence emerges, forcing her to confront not only an unspeakable evil but also the unsettling truths of their relationship and the space they’ve chosen to inhabit. About the filmmaker:
Osgood Robert “Oz” Perkins II (born February 2, 1974 in New York City) is an American filmmaker and former actor whose directorial work has become a distinctive voice in contemporary horror cinema. Son of actor Anthony Perkins and photographer/actress Berry Berenson, he transitioned from acting to writing and directing, debuting with the critically-noted The Blackcoat’s Daughter (2015). Since then, he’s helmed tense, atmospheric films such as Gretel & Hansel (2020), Longlegs (2024), The Monkey (2025) and now Keeper (2025), building a reputation for haunting visuals, psychological undercurrents and meticulous genre reinvention.
