Drew is approaching the end of his twenties and, with it, his relative youth. Looking to make a sudden change, he decides to quit his cushy desk job and “embrace life.” Cycling quickly through friends, hobbies, and goals, it’s not long until Drew realizes he has no idea what to do with his newfound freedom.

About the filmmaker:

Ryan Martin Brown is a filmmaker from North Florida currently residing in Brooklyn. His work as a writer and director has played at festivals around the world, most recently picking up the Emerging Director Award at Italy’s NOT Film Festival and Best Debut Film at the Nashville Film Festival. In addition, he’s produced several films, including Justin Zuckerman’s Yelling Fire in an Empty Theater (2022), Chris Osborn’s short film Gussy (2022), and Paula Andrea González-Nasser’s short film Limestone (2022). As an actor, Brown appeared alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Lynne Ramsay’s You Were Never Really Here (2017). Brown is also co-founder of 5th Floor, a Brooklyn based production collective.
