Before seeing MaXXXine (2024), experience the first two chapters in Ti West’s twisted trilogy!

About the films:

The trilogy opens with X (2022), which premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and became one of the year’s most acclaimed horror films. Set in 1979, the story opens with a group of young filmmakers who set out to make an adult film in a secluded farmhouse in rural Texas. Their reclusive, elderly hosts take a special interest in their young guests and, as night falls in, the couple’s leering interest takes a violent turn.

Co-written by West and star Mia Goth, Pearl (2022) is the stunning, technicolor-inspired origin story of the iconic villain. The year is 1918. Trapped on her family’s isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the bitter and overbearing watch of her devout mother. Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl’s ambitions, temptations, and repressions all collide.

The story continues in MaXXXine (2024), opening at the Film Center on Friday, July 5, 2024, with a special Sneak Preview on Wednesday, July 3. Get tickets here!
