About the filmmakers:
The Adams are an American filmmaking family who write, direct, produce, act, compose, and even operate the cameras. Their feature films include The Deeper You Dig (2019), the highly acclaimed folk horror Hellbender (2021), and Where the Devil Roams (2023), which premiered at the 2023 Fantasia Film Festival and won the Cheval Noir for Best Cinematography.
When not making films, John Adams is an accomplished artist and musician. Aside from composing music for film, John is also known for writing and performing with bands Banana Fish Zero, Statues of Liberty, and Kid Kalifornia. He enjoyed an illustrious modeling career in the ’90s, and in 2008, he was cast as a stuntman on the Fuse Network’s The Rock and Roll Acid Test.
While Zelda Adams has won acting awards on the indie film festival circuit, she has also been operating the camera since she was 9 and is now helming her own music videos and short films, including her directorial debut Noble (2008). She plays soccer and travels year-round with Nirvana360 FC. She also plays drums and sings with bands Kid Kalifornia and Hellbender.
After graduating from Tulane University with a BFA in Acting, Toby Poser began acting in stage productions Off-Broadway and regionally. Her work in television includes roles on Guiding Light and Law & Order and in independent films like Sundance darlings The Incredibly True Adventure of 2 Girls in Love (1995) and Steal Me (2005). She’s also a voice over artist.
