About the film:
On his 18th birthday, TJ receives a key from his estranged ex con father. The key unlocks a timeworn ’68 convertible and a challenge to drive across America – in hopes of repairing his sense of family. Supported by a band of loveable oddballs and held together by humor and grit, TJ discovers that sometimes the longest road is the fastest way to home.
About the filmmaker:
Chaysen Beacham is an award-winning American producer, director, and screenwriter. After graduating with degrees in film production and marketing strategies, Chaysen pursued his passion for film. Since graduating, Chaysen has worked on television projects for the BBC, ITV, Discovery Channel, and History Channel. Since 2017, Chaysen has solely focused on narrative features. In the middle of 2022, Chaysen embarked on his directorial debut with a coming-of-age film Polara which follows an 18-year-old boy on a cross-country journey to get answers from an estranged father.
