About the film:
Set in the fog-draped hills of Italy’s Piedmont region, Trifole follows Dalia, a young woman returning from London to care for her aging grandfather Igor, a reclusive truffle hunter facing debt and the loss of his land. Joined by Igor’s loyal dog Birba, Dalia ventures into the forests in search of one legendary truffle that could save their home. What begins as a desperate mission becomes a quiet, luminous journey of rediscovery—of family, tradition, and the delicate balance between progress and preservation.
