About the filmmaker:
Joshua Cooley is an American filmmaker, storyboard artist, and voice actor. Cooley has worked extensively with Disney Pixar, voicing beloved characters like Jangles from Inside Out (2015) and Omega from Up (2009), as well as writing the screenplay for Inside Out (2015) and the story for Toy Story 4 (2019). He has worked in the animation department as a story artist on films like Ratatouille (2007), Up (2009), The Garfield Movie (2024), and Inside Out 2 (2024). He also acted as a story supervisor on Cars 2 (2011) and Inside Out (2015). Cooley made his directorial debut with Toy Story 4 (2019), which won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2020 Academy Awards. His latest film, Transformers One (2024), is the first Transformers film to be fully computer-generated animated and to explore to origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron’s legendary rivalry.
