About the filmmaker:
Tomohisa Taguchi is a Japanese animator, director, storyboard artist and screenwriter. He worked on several Persona anime and made his feature directorial debut in 2014 with Persona 3 The Movie: #2 Midsummer Knight’s Dream. He followed up with the feature Persona 3 the Movie: #4 Winter of Rebirth (2016) and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna (2020) as well as episodes of the on-going anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War and the award-winning anime Akudama Drive (2020).
His Annecy prize-winning feature The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes (2023) is produced by Pony Canyon with animation by Clap Animation Studio.
