About the film:
Wendy’s life is thrown into chaos when her boyfriend, Jack, who is older and divorced with children, insists they take space to evaluate the relationship. During their break, Wendy runs into her ex, Chuck, sparking an emotionally charged love triangle that forces all three to confront the realities of love, timing, and personal growth.

About the filmmaker:
Joe Swanberg is an American filmmaker, writer, producer, and actor whose work helped define the mumblecore movement. Known for naturalistic performances, improvisational filmmaking, and intimate stories about relationships and everyday life, Swanberg has built a prolific body of independent work that has screened at film festivals around the world. His feature films include Hannah Takes the Stairs (2007), Nights and Weekends (2008), Drinking Buddies (2013), Digging for Fire (2015), and Win It All (2017). He also created and directed Easy, the Netflix anthology series exploring modern relationships through interconnected stories set in Chicago.
His new romantic drama The Sun Never Sets (2026) had its World Premiere at South by Southwest.
