Aaron Sorkin is one of the most respected screenwriters in the industry known for his distinctive rapid-fire dialogue and character-driven storytelling. He is the critically acclaimed writer behind television series The West Wing (1999-2006) as well as feature films A Few Good Men (1992), Moneyball (2011), and The Social Network (2010), which won him an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Sorkin has received numerous Emmy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominations and awards throughout his career, as well as nine nominations at the 2019 Tony Awards for his stage adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird.
After the success of his 2017 directorial debut Molly’s Game, Sorkin was prompted by Steven Spielberg to helm a vital project in development since 2007, The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020), which earned six nominations at the 93rd Academy Awards. Sorkin followed up with his third feature Being the Ricardos (2021) and his fourth, The Social Reckoning (2026), a sequel to The Social Network.
