From the filmmaker:
Born in Brazil, writer-director Iuli Gerbase studied cinema and holds a Master’s degree in creative writing. She started making films at age twenty, and her short films have screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, the Havana Film Festival, and other festivals around the world.
