About the filmmaker:
Francis Galluppi is a writer, editor, director, and music composer from Los Angeles, California. Galluppi’s short film High Desert Hell (2019) had a highly celebrated festival run, winning awards such as the Wes Craven Award at Catalina Film Festival. Galluppi also directed the short films Palm Drive (2017) and The Gemini Project (2020) before directing three music videos for the band Mt. Joy. The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024) is Galluppi’s feature length directorial debut.
