About the filmmaker:
Sean Durkin is a Canadian film director, screenwriter and producer known for his effective psychological dramas, including his feature debut Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), winner of Best Director at Sundance and an Official Selection of Cannes. His second feature film The Nest (2020) had its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. His short film Mary Last Seen (2010) won the SFR Prize at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight. The Iron Claw (2023) is his third feature film.
