Writer-director Wes Anderson is a true modern day auteur known for his detailed visual and narrative style. He wrote his first stage plays at the age of eight and studied philosophy at the University of Texas. Nominated for seven Academy Awards and a regular at major festivals around the world, his unique projects have been a major influence in independent film. HIs features include Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, as well as the stop-motion animation hits Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs.
The French Dispatch is his tenth feature film.
