A dive at one of the world’s most remote spots becomes a fight to the death for sisters Drew And May when a landslide sends rocks tumbling into the sea, trapping May in the depths.
As their oxygen runs low, its a frantic race against the clock as Drew desperately tries to find help in the isolated landscape above water, whilst May faces her own psychological battle as she confronts this devastating reality. Despite all her ingenuity and strength, Drew ultimately finds herself having to make a hard choice.

About the filmmaker:
Maximilian Erlenwein is a German film director and screenwriter. He studied media and sociology and worked as a camera assistant and freelance cinematographer. In 1999, he entered the German Film and Television Academy Berlin to study directing. His feature film debut Gravity (2010) won several accolades, including a Special Jury Prize at the Seattle International Film Festival. His feature Stereo (2014) premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival. His first English-language film The Dive (2023) premiered at the Munich Film Festival. He also directed short films and episodes of the German Netflix series Skylines (2019). In 2005, he and Robin von Hardenberg founded the production company Fat Lady Filmproduktion which makes music videos, documentaries, PR films and commercials.
