About the film:
On a secluded farm in a nondescript rural town, a man is slowly dying. His family gathers to mourn, and soon a darkness grows, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that something evil is taking over the family.

Bryan Bertino is an American filmmaker best known for crafting tense, atmospheric horror rooted in psychological dread and emotional vulnerability. He broke through with his acclaimed debut feature The Strangers (2008), which became a modern horror classic, and has since written and directed films including Mockingbird (2014), The Monster (2016), and The Dark and the Wicked (2020). Known for his minimalist storytelling and deeply unsettling sense of suspense, Bertino has established himself as one of contemporary horror’s most distinctive voices.
