About the filmmaker:
James Francis Gunn Jr. is an American filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, musician, and the co-CEO of DC Studios. He’s known for directing the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise for Marvel and The Suicide Squad (2021) for DC. He also wrote Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). Gunn’s other credits include the cult classics Slither and Super, and the Emmy-nominated HBO Max series Peacemaker (2022).
