About the filmmaker:
Jen Markowitz is a Toronto based filmmaker who has worked in directing, writing, producing, and casting. They have directed a handful of TV shows including Style Factory (2016), Vice Canada Reports (2018), and The Fabulous Show with Faye and Fluffy (2022). Their debut feature film Summer Qamp (2024) premiered In Competition at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and was named first runner-up for the People’s Choice Award for Documentaries.
