Jon Favreau is an American filmmaker, actor, and producer known for his work across blockbuster filmmaking and innovative television. He directed Iron Man (2008), launching the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and went on to helm films including The Jungle Book (2016) and The Lion King (2019). Favreau also created the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, helping pioneer virtual production techniques. Known for blending character-driven storytelling with cutting-edge technology, his work has had a major impact on contemporary franchise filmmaking.
