Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Academy Award-winning Spider-Verse saga, a direct sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) which received the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2019.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson – a powerhouse creative team of artists and storytellers.
Joaquim Dos Santos is a Portuguese-born American storyboard artist, director, producer, writer, and designer. His projects include directing work on the television series Justice League Unlimited, Avatar: The Last Airbender, G.I. Joe: Resolute, The Legend of Korra, and Voltron: Legendary Defender.
Kemp Powers is an American filmmaker and playwright. His projects include story and direction on the feature film Soul (2020), which made him the first African-American to co-direct a Disney animated feature. He also wrote the play “One Night in Miami” as well as the 2020 film adaptation, which earned him a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination at the 93rd Academy Awards.
Justin K. Thompson previously served as the production designer for the award-winning feature films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) and its sequel. His other projects include Cartoon Network series The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He also worked at The Orphanage Animation Studios, The Jim Henson Company and Lucasfilm Animation.
