A newly arranged marriage. An oddball couple shoved together in a small Mumbai shack with paper-thin walls. They are awkward and alone—together. About the filmmaker:

Karan Kandhari is a British Indian film director, screenwriter and cinematographer. In 2009, Kandhari directed the short film Hard Hat, a melancholy tale of three immigrants who meet on a cash-in-hand construction job in London. The film was selected for numerous film festivals around the world, winning the Audience Award at the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival in 2010. In 2024, his directorial debut film Sister Midnight had its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
