About the film:

With the world gripped by a deadly pandemic, science denier Glenn Rollins turns to an experimental vaccine as treatment for a lingering sickness. Much to the surprise of his doctor, wife, and friends, the remedy immediately fixes what ails him. But Glenn will soon discover the only thing more fatal than the virus… is the cure.

About the filmmaker:

J.R. Bookwalter is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer from Akron, Ohio. Bookwalter is best known for his work on low-budget horror films. His directorial debut, The Dead Next Door (1989), was produced by Sam Raimi and had a lengthy production that was drawn out for nearly four years. In 1991, he began his own distribution company, Tempe Entertainment, and went on to distribute his own features—including the critically acclaimed Ozone (1993). Throughout his filmmaking career, Bookwalter has worked in makeup effects, lighting, cinematography, explosives work, and acting, as well as writing and directing.
