About the filmmaker:
Benjamin Caron is an Emmy Award-winning British film and television director making his feature directorial debut with the neo-noir thriller Shaper (2023). He earned recognition for his direction on episodes of recent high-profile television series, including Sherlock in 2017, The Crown from 2016-2022, and Andor in 2022. His previous work includes episodes of acclaimed series Hollyoaks in 2009, Casualty in 2010, Skins in 2012, and Wallander in 2015, followed by film presentations of Kenneth Branagh’s Branagh Theatre Live: The Winter’s Tale (2015), Romeo and Juliet (2016), and The Entertainer (2016). He also directed music videos for artists including Jay-Z, Madonna, Lady GaGa and the Black Eyes Peas.
