About the film:
In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard and eager rookie Constable Stalker take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theater underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.
About the filmmaker:
Tom George is a director and sometimes writer of film and television whose first feature film is the mystery comedy See How They Run (2022). He directed every episode of the multi BAFTA-winning comedy This Country (2017-2020), as well as writing story on the series, and his other credits include legal comedy-drama Defending The Guilty (2019). He has also worked as a live music director for over ten years, filming major concerts including Glastonbury Festival, The Mercury Music Prize and The BBC Proms.
