About the filmmaker:

Kevin Williamson is an American screenwriter, director, and producer best known for revitalizing the horror genre with the Scream franchise, which he created and wrote. His career took off with the teen horror classic Scream (1996), and he has since written and produced numerous genre and television hits including I Know What You Did Last Summer, Dawson’s Creek, and The Vampire Diaries.

With Scream 7, Williamson continues to shape contemporary horror with sharp, character-driven storytelling and a keen ear for cultural tension.
