About the filmmaker:
Zach Cregger is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker best known for writing, producing, and directing the feature horror films Barbarian (2022) and Weapons (2025). He first came to prominence as one of the three founding members of the New York City-based comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know alongside Trevor Moore and Sam Brown. Cregger starred in the sitcoms Friends with Benefits (2011), Guys with Kids (2012-2013), and Wrecked (2016-2017). He also starred in the film Miss March (2009), which he co-directed and co-wrote with Moore.
