He gained international acclaim with Call Me by Your Name (2017), which earned multiple Academy Award nominations and won for Best Adapted Screenplay. His diverse body of work—including I Am Love, Suspiria (2018), and Bones and All—spans genres while maintaining a distinctive focus on desire, identity, and atmosphere.
