About the filmmakers:
Jasmine and Kenny Leyva are American documentary filmmakers. Jasmine, a producer, and Kenny, an editor, became an item while working on the documentary series Unsung (2013). Jasmine, while grateful to have an entertainment position, became frustrated with putting maximum effort into someone else’s vision. Kenny advised her to quit her job and promised to take care of her so she could put all of her energy into their first feature length film. With unwavering love for one another, years of patience and hard work, they created The Invisible Vegan (2019).
