About the film:

André Øvredal is a Norwegian filmmaker known for his atmospheric, character-driven approach to horror. He first gained international attention with the found-footage cult hit Trollhunter (2010) and has since directed acclaimed genre films including The Autopsy of Jane Doe and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Øvredal’s work is distinguished by its blend of grounded realism, slow-building tension, and imaginative storytelling within the horror genre.
