About the filmmaker:
Veteran German-born French filmmaker Dominik Moll studied film at the City College of New York and the French National Film School (IDHEC) before working as assistant editor, editor and assistant director before writing and directing his own films. He is best known for his dark comedy With a Friend Like Harry, winner of four Césars including Best Director, and the psychological thriller Lemming, both official selections of the Cannes Film Festival.
With Only the Animals, Moll and his regular co-writer Gilles Marchand adapted Colin Niel’s 2018 French novel “Seules les bêtes” into a a riveting cinematic murder mystery.
