About the filmmaker: 

Jordan Peele is an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. He is best known for his film and television work in the comedy and horror genres. Peele’s directorial debut, Get Out (2017), established him as a one-to-watch in genre filmmaking. The film was released to critical acclaim and was chosen by the National Board of Review, the American Film Institute, and Time magazine as one of the top 10 films of the year. Peele was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director, Best Picture, and Best Original Screenplay, as well as a nomination for Daniel Kaluuya for Best Actor. Peele also wrote and directed the feature film Us (2019) and co-wrote and co-produced the remake Candyman (2021).
