Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin continue their iconic screen partnership as estranged friends who reunite to seek revenge on the petulant widower (Malcolm McDowell) of their recently deceased best friend. Along the way, Fonda’s character reunites with her great love (Richard Roundtree) as each woman learns to make peace with the past and each other.

About the filmmaker:
Paul Weitz is an American producer, screenwriter, actor, and director. Together with his brother Chris Weitz, Paul worked on the teen comedy film American Pie (1999) and the critically acclaimed About a Boy (2002), for which they were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. The brothers often serve as a producers on each other’s projects. Paul’s other projects as director include the feature films In Good Company (2004), American Dreamz (2006), Little Fockers (2010), Being Flynn (2012), Admission (2013), and Fatherhood (2021). He previously worked with Lily Tomlin on Grandma (2015), which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. He is also a writer, executive producer, and director of the Amazon Prime Video web series Mozart in the Jungle.
