About the filmmaker:

Léa Fehner is a French director and screenwriter who studied screenwriting at La Fémis, an art school in Paris, France. During her time studying there, Fehner wrote the screenplay for  Silent Voice—which would become her directorial debut in 2009—before obtaining her diploma in 2006.
