About the filmmaker:
Shoshannah Stern was born on July 3, 1980 in Walnut Creek, California, USA. Attended Gallaudet University, the only liberal arts college for the Deaf in the world.
Shoshannah is an actress and writer, known for Jericho (2006), The Hammer (2010) and This Close (2018). Born into a fourth generation deaf family, Shoshannah’s first language is American Sign Language. She also reads lips and comfortably speaks without an interpreter.
