About the filmmaker:
Bradley Cooper is an Academy Award nominated American actor and filmmaker. Cooper received vast critical acclaim for his directorial debut, A Star is Born (2018), for which he also co-wrote the script and played the lead role. A Star is Born (2018) premiered at the 75th Venice Film Festival and went on to receive eight Academy Award nominations—including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay—one Academy Award win for Best Original Song, as well as five Golden Globe nominations.
With Maestro (2023), Cooper’s second venture into directing, he has once again opted to work both in-front-of and behind the camera, appearing in the lead role as Leonard Bernstein.
