About the film:

Sophie Hyde is an Australian filmmaker known for her intimate, character-driven stories that explore identity, relationships, and personal transformation. She gained international recognition with 52 Tuesdays (2013), which won the Directing Award in the World Cinema Dramatic section at the Sundance Film Festival. Hyde has since directed acclaimed films including Animals (2019) and Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022), as well as television projects. Her work is noted for its emotional honesty, collaborative process, and focus on complex, evolving characters.
