When a group of teens takes a locket from a collapsed fire tower in the woods, they unwittingly resurrect the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year old crime. The undead killer soon embarks on a bloody rampage to retrieve the stolen locket, methodically slaughtering anyone who gets in his way.

About the filmmaker:
Chris Nash is a Canadian filmmaker who is best known for directing the “Z is for Zygote” segment in The ABCs of Death (2014). Since then, Nash has directed music videos for the band The Birthday Massacre and has been developing a yet-to-be-announced TV show. In a Violent Nature (2024) is Nash’s debut feature film and premiered in the Midnight program of the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
