About the filmmaker:
John Krasinski is an American actor and filmmaker. Krasinski is most well known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sit-com “The Office,” for which he won a 2007 and 2008 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Early on in his career, he worked as a script intern on “Late Night with Conan O’Brian.” He has appeared in many popular films including Jarhead (2005), The Holiday (2006), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). In 2018, Krasinski made his directorial debut with the Academy Award-nominated horror film A Quiet Place, which he also wrote and starred in; he returned as writer-director for the film’s sequel, A Quiet Place Part II (2020), as well.
