About the filmmaker:
Macon Blair is an American filmmaker, comic book writer, and actor. He made his feature directorial debut with I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017), which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and won the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize. As an actor, Blair has appeared in many films including Blue Ruin (2013), Green Room (2015), The Florida Project (2017), Logan Lucky (2017), and Oppenheimer (2023). As director, his second feature The Toxic Avenger (2023) premiered as the opening film of Fantastic Fest, and his third feature Idiots (2026) premiered under its original title, The Shitheads, at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
