About the filmmaker:
Steffen Haars is a film and television director who starred as Robbie Schuurmans in the television sketch program New Kids (2007-2009). He studied directing at the Dutch Film and Television Academy Amsterdam. Together with Flip van der Kuil, Haars has created several audiovisual works such as New Kids Turbo (2010), New Kids Nitro (2011), Bro’s Before Ho’s (2013) and Krazy House (2024).
Another 2024 film of his in release, Get Away, premiered at Fantastic Fest, having won Best Director in 2011 (New Kids Turbo) and Best Film in 2012 (New Kids Nitro) at the festival.
