About the film:
After the disappearance of her husband, a struggling farmer in an isolated Appalachian community fights to save her son when the cold-hearted matriarch of the oldest family on the mountain demands payment of a debt that could destroy a decades-old truce.
About the filmmakers:
Lane and Ruckus Skye are the husband/wife writing and directing team behind the Appalachian thriller The Devil To Pay. It premiered at the 2019 Atlanta Film Festival and took home the Georgia Film Award. The duo spen the last ten years as professional screenwriters. They also wrote the home-invasion thriller Becky—an official selection of Tribeca 2020—and the contained jail-house thriller film Rattle the Cage.
