About the filmmaker:
Charlotte Le Bon is a Canadian actress, artist, former model and television presenter. She grew up in Quebec before moving to Paris. Her work as an actress landed her roles with directors such as Jalil Lespert on Yves Saint Laurent (2014), Lasse Hallström on The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014), and Robert Zemeckis on The Walk (2015).
Le Bon is an artist exploring her taste for strangeness through paintings, drawings and lithographs. Her passion for genre films led her to write and direct Judith Hotel (2018), a short film presented at Cannes in 2018. Her feature directorial debut Falcon Lake (2023) premiered in the Director’s Fortnight program at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
