About the filmmaker:
David Gregory is a film producer and director best known for his work on films like The Spaghetti West (2005), Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley’s Island of Dr. Moreau (2014), and Plague Town (2008). Gregory is also co-founder of Severin Films, a production and distribution company. In 2005, directed an investigative documentary on Britain’s censorship policies and “Video Nasties” titled Ban The Sadist Videos!. Following the release of this documentary, Severin Films restored and released more than 35 of the original “condemned” titles. His latest film, Enter the Clones of Bruce (2024), premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2023.
