About the film:
After a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out, Olive, a clean cut high school girl, sees her reputation tarnished until she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing. Now her classmates are turning against her and the school board is becoming concerned. With the support of her hilariously idiosyncratic parents and a little help from a long-time crush, Olive attempts to take on her notorious new identity and crush the rumor mill once and for all.
The hit teen comedy Easy A (2010) was partially inspired by the 1850 novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. For her standout performance, Emma Stone received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, while the film won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy.

Will Gluck is an award-winning American filmmaker, songwriter, and composer. He began his career working as a writer and then producer on shows like The John Larroquette Show, Working, Grosse Pointe, and The Loop before making his feature directorial debut helming the teen comedy Fired Up! (2009). In 2011, he founded media production company Olive Bridge Entertainment and produced his features Easy A (2010), Friends with Benefits (2011), the remake Annie (2014), and Peter Rabbit (2018), among other films. He also co-created, directed, and produced Michael J. Fox’s return to television The Michael J. Fox Show (2013-2014).
