About the filmmakers:
Terence Krey and Christine Nyland are the filmmaking team behind the Shudder Original An Unquiet Grave (2021) which premiered at Nightstream Film Festival in 2020. Distress Signals (2023) is their second feature film, and the first feature directing credit for Nyland. As an actor, Nyland is best known for roles in Flavio Alves’ award-winning The Garden Left Behind (2019) and Chris Cardillo Sr.’s Worthless (2021), as well as the lead in the cult, horror-comedy series, Graves, written and directed by Krey.
