Mexican-American and queer, high school student Javier doesn’t exactly fit in with the popular kids—but he might be the only one who can save them. After an act of bullying sends Javier to the hospital, he begins experiencing visions that foresee glimpses of shocking murders at his school right before they happen. Now, in between navigating the social hierarchies and prejudices of clique culture, Javier (Ignacio Diaz-Silverio) and his best friend Bianca (Ireon Roach) must try to unmask a serial killer before he strikes again.

About the filmmaker:
Clare Cooney is actor and filmmaker who made her directorial debut with Departing Seniors (2024). She also write, directed, edited, and starred in the short film Runner (2017) which played at 15 film festivals, winning six awards and various nominations. Departing Seniors (2024) had its Ohio Premiere at the 2023 Nightmares Film Festival at Gateway Film Center.
